BIG NEWS!!

The first two segments of the North Tarrant Express will be completed in early October - nearly nine months ahead of schedule. We have rebuilt all of the main lanes and frontage roads and nearly doubled the road capacity with the addition of TEXpress managed toll lanes.

Now, drivers have a choice of traveling along the free main lanes, or entering the TEXpress lanes, which guarantees a minimum rate of speed of 50 mph. As the east-west corridor opens, we will transition this site to provide important information and updates about the next segment of the North Tarrant Express: reconstruction of I-35W from downtown Fort Worth to the US 287 juncture.
