Michael Hix is an Entertainer.

He is a Pop/Rock & Soul Singer, Producer, Actor, and Emcee. For the past 15 years, Michael has been entertaining audiences all across the country. His unique style, confident swagger, and charismatic personality has critics from all over comparing him to entertainers such as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Dean Martin, Johnny Carson, Steve Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr (just to name a few). His moves are smooth, his wit is charming, yet his presence is humble. From radio, stage, television, and motion pictures, he can do it ALL. Michael is the definition of entertainer.

His 4 octave vocal range, charisma, stage presence, and versatility as a performer has allowed him the opportunities to perform with a variety of acts across the country. He has performed with acts such as, Cher, Bret Michaels, Rick Springfield, Eddie Money, Loverboy, Sara Evans, George Jones, Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels, Sugar Ray, and several others.

Michael has also lent his voice to numerous radio commercials, audio books, and several character voices for animated feature films. He has performed on LIVE, National Television, Public Broadcasts, and in Feature Films. From his stage show, Michael hopes to one day transition into television on a full time basis.

Michael’s first record “Green Light” was released in 2010 and received tremendous review. This album is currently available at all LIVE! events and at major music outlets including iTunes and Amazon.com. He is currently working on new material and hoping to record his sophmore album in 2015.

From 2003 till 2013, Michael produced, emceed, and performed in a weekly, music variety show in Arlington, TX (formerly Johnnie High’s Country Music Revue) which took place at the Arlington Music Hall. This show was nationally televised and won numerous awards. Michael left the Arlington Music Hall in 2013 to pursue his own goals in the entertainment industry.

Michael, along with his band The Holla, provide an exciting, high-energy variety show, that makes audiences of all ages want to come back for more. During the show, you’ll see and hear your favorite hits performed like never before.
